Plate Magnets (Ceramic or High Strength Rare Earth)

• Plate magnets provide protection against tramp iron in a wide range of applications.
• Designed primarily for use in ducts, chutes and other types of enclosed flow lines, plate magnets are equally effective in removing ferrous contaminants from free flowing and pneumatically conveyed material.
• Plate magnets can also be installed above conveyor lines or under conveyor discharge.
• For maximum effectiveness, plate magnets should be located at the point of minimum burden depth and material velocity.
• Choose high density ceramic or rare earth magnetic material to suit your budget and your application.
• These All-Stainless Steel clad plate magnets are available in a number of face designs including flat, pole (pictured above) or, for maximum holding force, tapered step.

Suspension Magnets

Suspension Magnets are very large suspended plate magnets which are placed above open conveyors.

Simple manual clean units are available in a range of sizes to suit common belt widths.
